Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit against the human PTCH1 protein, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot of unconjugated IgG validated for Western blot workflows.

PTCH1 (Patched 1) is the twelve-pass transmembrane receptor for Sonic Hedgehog ligands and a central negative regulator of Hedgehog pathway activity, frequently studied in basal cell carcinoma, medulloblastoma, and Gorlin syndrome where loss-of-function mutations drive constitutive pathway activation. As a key tumor suppressor in this signaling axis, PTCH1 is a common target in oncology and developmental biology research.

This antibody recognizes endogenous PTCH1 in human and mouse samples, supporting investigation of receptor expression, subcellular localization, and pathway dynamics in lysates prepared from cultured lines and primary tissue. The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes across the PTCH1 primary sequence, providing robust signal for immunoblotting of whole-cell extracts and membrane-enriched fractions.

Aliquot upon first use and store protected from light to preserve antibody activity across repeated experiments.
