Primary rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targeting PSTPIP1 (Proline-Serine-Threonine Phosphatase Interacting Protein 1), also known as CD2BP1, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent in a 200 µl vial. Raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot and flow cytometry on human samples.

PSTPIP1 is a cytoskeletal scaffold protein that recruits protein tyrosine phosphatases to the actin cytoskeleton and contributes to inflammasome assembly in neutrophils and macrophages. Germline mutations in PSTPIP1 are causally linked to PAPA syndrome (pyogenic arthritis, pyoderma gangrenosum, and acne) and to related presentations such as pyoderma gangrenosum, acne, and ulcerative colitis, which is why the protein is a frequent subject in autoinflammatory disease research.

Typical applications include detection of endogenous PSTPIP1 in whole-cell or tissue lysates by Western blot under reducing conditions, and intracellular flow cytometry staining of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells or myeloid cell lines. Because the antibody is unconjugated, researchers can pair it with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents of their choice. The reagent is shipped as 200 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a standard storage buffer and is intended for research use only; it has not been validated for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
