Anti-PSPH Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, was raised against human phosphoserine phosphatase (PSPH) and is provided as 100 µl of unconjugated reagent for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. PSPH catalyses the terminal dephosphorylation step in the L-serine biosynthesis pathway, converting O-phosphoserine to L-serine.

Beyond its core metabolic role, the enzyme has drawn interest in cancer-metabolism research: its overexpression has been reported in breast carcinoma, colorectal tumours, lung adenocarcinoma, and glioma, where elevated activity feeds one-carbon metabolism and supports tumour-cell proliferation. The reagent allows detection of endogenous PSPH in human cell and tissue samples, supporting studies of serine-pathway dependency, metabolic reprogramming under nutrient stress, and exploration of PSPH as a candidate therapeutic target.
