Anti-Psoriasin Antibody [5C2]

This Primary Antibody from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 5C2) raised against Psoriasin, the S100A7 protein. The unconjugated IgG2a reagent is reactive with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot and ELISA applications.

The antibody was generated by immunising mice with a short peptide derived from human S100A7 (psoriasin) and conjugated with KLH. It specifically recognises the S100A7 peptide sequence TDYHKQSHGAAPCSGGS, as well as GST-tagged recombinant S100A7 protein. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.0. It is reconstituted with double distilled water, and the resulting concentration is reconstitution dependent.

For handling, the lyophilised antibody is shipped at 4 °C. Upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
