The 11S proteasome activator PSME3 (Proteasome Activator Subunit 3), also referred to as REGγ, PA28γ, or Ki antigen, is a regulatory subunit that drives ATP- and ubiquitin-independent degradation of short-lived cellular proteins. It modulates cell-cycle progression, apoptosis, transcription factor turnover, and ribosomal biogenesis, and has been studied in the context of autoimmune disease—where the Ki antigen is a recognized target in systemic lupus erythematosus—and in multiple cancers including thyroid, breast, colorectal, and hepatocellular carcinoma.

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against PSME3 and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows. It is an unconjugated IgG antibody of polyclonal clonality, supplied at 50 µl per vial, and has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species experimental work in standard cell culture and tissue-based research.

Typical laboratory use includes detection of PSME3 by immunoblotting of cell lysates and by immunofluorescent staining of fixed cells, where the protein shows both nuclear and cytoplasmic distribution. Store at -20°C for long-term stability, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles; aliquot before freezing to preserve activity. For research use only.
