This unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets PSME3 (Proteasome Activator Subunit 3), the regulatory subunit also known as REG-gamma that drives ATP- and ubiquitin-independent degradation of key cellular regulators including the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p21 and tumor suppressor p53. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of purified mouse monoclonal IgG in a Tris-Glycine buffer containing 150 mM NaCl at pH 7.4 with 50% glycerol and 0.2% sodium azide as a preservative, and is validated for western blot detection of the human PSME3 protein.

Researchers studying cell-cycle exit, oncogenic stress signaling, and proteasome biology routinely probe PSME3 expression across cancer cell lines, patient-derived tumor lysates, and CRISPR-edited knockouts to assess how altered REG-gamma activity reshapes p21, p16, and p53 turnover. The unconjugated format allows flexible downstream labeling with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates depending on the western blot or immunoprecipitation workflow. Store the vial at 4 °C for short-term use or freeze in aliquots at -20 °C for long-term stability, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
