Anti-PSME1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets PSME1 (proteasome activator complex subunit 1, also known as PA28α), the inducible regulator of the 20S proteasome. Supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL vial, the reagent is unconjugated and was raised against a recombinant human PSME1 immunogen, followed by affinity purification using the immunogen. The host species is rabbit (IgG isotype), the clonality is polyclonal, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of total PSME1 protein. It has been validated for use on human and mouse samples in Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows, making it a useful reagent for studies of MHC class I antigen processing and immunoproteasome regulation. The formulation is phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve antibody activity.
