PSMD9 is a non-ATPase regulatory subunit of the 26S proteasome, the multi-subunit complex that drives ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation in eukaryotic cells. The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to recognize defined epitopes on the human PSMD9 protein. It is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl volume, giving users flexibility to pair the primary reagent with HRP, biotin, Alexa Fluor, or other label systems of their choosing.

Validated applications span Western blot analysis of cell and tissue lysates, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, and immunofluorescence imaging of cultured cells and biopsy material. The polyclonal format offers recognition of multiple epitopes on PSMD9, which can improve signal robustness in specimens where single-epitope reagents perform inconsistently. Reactivity is established against human PSMD9, making the reagent relevant to studies of proteasome biology, misfolded-protein clearance, and downstream pathways implicated in cancer, neurodegeneration, and immune regulation.

For handling, the antibody should be refrigerated on arrival and aliquoted to minimize freeze-thaw cycles; working aliquots are commonly kept at -20°C for extended stability. The unconjugated presentation is also compatible with downstream fluorophore or enzyme conjugation by individual laboratories.
