Raised in rabbit against the proteasome 19S regulatory subunit PSMD6 (also known as Rpn7 / p44S10), this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH ~7.2. The antibody recognizes PSMD6 from human, mouse, and rat samples and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, supporting studies of 26S proteasome assembly, ubiquitin-dependent protein turnover, and related cell-signaling contexts.

Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody solution. For routine use, keep refrigerated; for long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity. Sodium azide in the buffer prevents microbial contamination during bench handling, making the reagent appropriate for in vitro assays and fixed-tissue work but not for live-cell or in vivo preparations.

PSMD6 is a non-ATPase subunit of the 19S regulatory particle and contributes to recognition and unfolding of polyubiquitinated substrates before their translocation into the 20S catalytic core. Researchers investigating proteasome integrity, ER-associated degradation, or PSMD6-linked oncogenic pathways can monitor subunit expression across cell and tissue models with this reagent. For research use only.
