Anti-PSMD3 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against PSMD3, a 534 amino acid regulatory component of the 26S Proteasome (also known as S3, P58, or RPN3) that consists of one PCI domain and is encoded by a gene on human chromosome 17. The 26S Proteasome is a protease complex that selectively breaks down polyubiquitinated proteins and comprises a 20S catalytic chamber together with two 19S regulatory particles that recognise and unfold those substrates.

The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 400–445 of human PSMD3, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of PSMD3 protein. It migrates at approximately 61 kDa and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, reaching a purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
