PSMD10, also known as Gankyrin, is a non-ATPase regulatory subunit of the 26S proteasome lid subcomplex. It has been studied extensively as an oncoprotein linked to hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, and other malignancies, where it accelerates degradation of tumor suppressors including p53 and Rb. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com enables detection of endogenous PSMD10 in human, mouse, and rat samples through Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µL of a 1 mg/mL stock in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, supporting direct dilution into standard assay buffers. Polyclonal reactivity against a conserved region of the proteasome subunit makes it a useful reagent for examining proteasome assembly, ubiquitin-dependent protein turnover, and subcellular localization. Researchers probing endoplasmic reticulum, cytosolic, and nuclear fractions have used the antibody to characterize proteasome remodeling under cellular stress, oncogenic transformation, and during cell cycle progression.

Store the vial aliquoted at -20 °C to preserve activity, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles; the glycerol formulation remains stable short-term at 4 °C for routine bench use. Handle with appropriate PPE given the sodium azide preservative. Each lot is validated for reactivity across human, mouse, and rat species, with applications including immunofluorescence imaging of fixed cells, IHC on paraffin sections, and standard Western blotting of whole-cell lysates.
