Produced in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated antibody specifically recognizes the PSMB9 protein, the IFN-γ-inducible β1i subunit that replaces the constitutive β1 catalytic subunit in assembled immunoproteasomes. The target plays a documented role in MHC class I peptide processing and has been studied in the context of antigen presentation, autoimmune disease models, and tumor immunology. The Antibodies.com reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples, making it useful for cross-species studies of proteasome remodeling in inflamed or transformed tissues. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated serum, the antibody can be paired with a secondary detection reagent of choice and is intended for research use only.
