Anti-PSMB8 Antibody

Primary antibody raised in rabbit against the PSMB8 catalytic subunit of the human immunoproteasome, supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl of unconjugated polyclonal antiserum for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. PSMB8, also known as LMP7 or β5i, replaces the constitutive β5 subunit in proteasomes assembled under interferon-γ signaling and contributes the chymotrypsin-like activity that generates peptides for MHC class I antigen presentation. Mutations in PSMB8 have been linked to autoinflammatory conditions such as Nakajo-Nishimura syndrome and CANDLE syndrome, supporting research into proteasome-mediated immune regulation, cytokine-driven proteasome remodeling, and antigen processing pathways.
