The PSMB8 target is a catalytic β5i subunit of the immunoproteasome, and this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, the antibody recognizes the inducible proteasome subunit that replaces constitutive PSMB5 in IFN-γ–stimulated cells and plays a central role in MHC class I antigen processing. Researchers studying autoinflammatory disease, antigen presentation, and proteasome biology use this reagent to track immunoproteasome assembly and activity in cell and tissue models. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve reactivity across extended experiments.
