PSMB2 is a beta-type subunit of the 20S proteasome core complex, contributing to the assembly of the proteolytic chamber responsible for ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation in eukaryotic cells. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against PSMB2 and recognizes an epitope conserved across human, mouse, and rat orthologues, supporting cross-species experimental work. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated reagent is packaged as a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. Researchers commonly apply it to monitor proteasome subunit expression, investigate proteasome assembly dynamics, and probe changes in proteasomal composition under proteotoxic stress or in disease models linked to impaired protein turnover. Intended for research use only.
