Anti-PSMB10 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the proteasome subunit beta type-10 (PSMB10), this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the inducible catalytic core of the immunoproteasome, the IFN-γ-driven alternative to the constitutive 20S proteasome that shapes MHC class I peptide repertoires in hematopoietic and inflamed tissues.

The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples. PSMB10, also called MECL-1 or β2i, contributes catalytic activity to the β2 ring of the assembled immunoproteasome and is widely studied in cancer immunology, antigen presentation, proteasome-associated autoinflammatory syndromes, and the cellular response to cytokines such as interferon-gamma and TNF-α.

Typical experimental uses include probing lymphoid tissue, tumor microenvironments, primary macrophages and dendritic cells, cytokine-stimulated cell lines, and transfected overexpression systems to map immunoproteasome assembly.
