Anti-PSMA Antibody [YPSMA-2]

From Antibodies.com, this Anti-PSMA Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody (clone YPSMA-2) directed against Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA). The unconjugated reagent is of the IgG2b isotype and is validated for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA applications, with reactivity confirmed against human samples.

The antibody was raised against a crude membrane protein preparation from pooled prostate malignant carcinoma and is reported to show little or no cross-reactivity with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) or normal prostatic tissue. It is supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.0, and has been purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution is carried out using double distilled water, and the resulting concentration is reconstitution dependent.
