Anti-PSMA Antibody [YPSMA-1] - Identical to Abcam (ab19071)

A mouse monoclonal antibody recognising Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA), supplied by Antibodies.com. Designated the YPSMA-1 clone, it was raised against a crude membrane protein preparation from pooled prostate malignant carcinoma. The antibody is of the IgG2b isotype and is provided unconjugated, with reactivity confirmed against human samples and validation in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA.

Characterisation studies report little or no cross-reactivity with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) or normal prostatic tissue. The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a 0.01 M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.0, to be reconstituted with double distilled water. Shipped at 4°C, the reconstituted product should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. The reported epitope is Sp2/0-Ag14.
