Anti-PSMA Antibody [4H11]

A mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody from Antibodies.com targeting human Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA; FOLH1), clone 4H11 binds the extracellular domain of this type II transmembrane glutamate carboxypeptidase and has been cited in immunohistochemistry studies characterizing PSMA expression across benign, prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia, and malignant prostate tissue. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µg lyophilised vial and is validated for IHC and ELISA workflows on human specimens, where it specifically detects native PSMA without meaningful cross-reactivity against related human antigens. Reconstitution in sterile buffer before use, combined with refrigerated storage of the lyophilised product, supports long shelf life and reliable performance across repeated staining runs in pathology research, tumor biomarker profiling, and investigations of PSMA upregulation in the neovasculature of solid tumors as well as in prostate adenocarcinoma cells.
