Psm1 is a proteasome subunit identified in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe, where it contributes to the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway responsible for regulated protein turnover. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot of IgG, unconjugated for flexibility in downstream detection workflows. Validated for western blot and immunoprecipitation against S. pombe lysates, the antibody supports studies of proteasome assembly, proteolytic activity, and stress-related protein degradation in yeast model systems. Storage at 4°C is recommended for short-term use; aliquot and store at -20°C for long-term stability, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Research use only.
