Anti-PSIP1 Antibody

The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody targets PSIP1, a chromatin-associated transcriptional coactivator commonly referenced as LEDGF/p75. PSIP1 contains PWWP and HIN domains that mediate binding to H3K36-methylated chromatin, and the protein has been studied as a tethering cofactor for lentiviral pre-integration complexes, a transcriptional regulator under oxidative and genotoxic stress, and a survival factor in lens epithelial cells. This rabbit-derived IgG reagent is supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated polyclonal antiserum, validated for western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat lysates. Common applications include probing endogenous LEDGF/p75 expression across nuclear extract preparations, chromatin fractionation experiments, and immunoblots of cells challenged with stress stimuli. For best results, store refrigerated at 4°C in single-use aliquots to preserve antibody activity across multiple experiments.
