The antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against PRPH (peripherin), targeting an epitope corresponding to amino acids 430-480 of the human protein. It detects endogenous levels of peripherin and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.
The antibody is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. It reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.
Affinity-purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, the preparation shows >95% purity by SDS-PAGE, with a molecular weight of approximately 55 kDa.
