This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes PRPF19 (Pre-mRNA Processing Factor 19), a nuclear protein that functions as the scaffold of the PRP19-CDC5L spliceosome complex and acts as an E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in the DNA damage response. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent, it is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and supports cross-species work in Human and Mouse samples, where PRPF19 has been linked to genome stability, spliceosome assembly, and tumor cell proliferation.

Each vial contains 100 µL of polyclonal antiserum raised in Rabbit. With no fluorophore or enzyme tag, the antibody pairs freely with secondary reagents for chemiluminescent, chromogenic, or fluorescence detection. For storage, aliquot upon receipt and freeze at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw loss; working stocks may be kept refrigerated short-term. For immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections, antigen retrieval in citrate buffer (pH 6.0) or Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) is recommended. For research use only.

PRPF19 migrates near an apparent molecular weight of approximately 55 kDa on SDS-PAGE, consistent with its predicted polypeptide length of 504 amino acids. This reagent is suited to studies of pre-mRNA splicing, the DNA damage response, ubiquitin signaling, and cancer biology, and is relevant to investigations of cellular senescence where PRPF19 was originally identified as SNEV (senescence evasion factor).
