A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targeting PRPF19, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent for protein detection in human and mouse samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, ready for dilution into standard western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry workflows.

PRPF19 (pre-mRNA processing factor 19), also known as PSO4, is a component of the spliceosome and is recruited to sites of DNA damage, where it contributes to ubiquitin and NEDD8 signaling. Researchers investigating RNA splicing, the DNA damage response, or post-translational modification pathways use this reagent to probe endogenous PRPF19 expression and subcellular localization across denatured lysates, fixed tissue sections, and intact cell populations.

The polyclonal format offers broader epitope coverage than monoclonal alternatives, helping to maintain signal even when post-translational modifications or splice variation shift individual epitopes. The unconjugated IgG isotype pairs with many secondary antibodies and label chemistries, giving flexibility in detection strategy. For long-term use, the antibody should be stored refrigerated and protected from light, with aliquots prepared to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
