PROX1 (Prospero Homeobox 1) is a homeodomain transcription factor essential for the development of the lymphatic vasculature, the central nervous system, and several endodermal organs including the liver and pancreas. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes the human and mouse PROX1 protein and is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl aliquot for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

The reagent is widely used in the literature as a selective marker of lymphatic endothelial cells, supporting studies of lymphangiogenesis in tumor microenvironments, wound healing, and inflammatory models. PROX1 expression is also tracked during embryonic organogenesis, hepatocyte differentiation, and in neuronal progenitor cell populations, giving researchers a single reagent that spans both vascular and developmental biology projects. Because the antibody is polyclonal and unconjugated, it pairs cleanly with secondary antibody systems and is compatible with chromogenic IHC, immunofluorescence, and standard western blot protocols.

Reactivity with human and mouse PROX1 has been confirmed. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum. For best results, aliquot upon receipt if longer-term storage is needed and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
