Anti-proteasome alpha 7 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a recombinant fragment of human PSMA7 spanning amino acids 10–217 and recognises the proteasome alpha 7 (PSMA7) subunit, a core component of the 20S proteasome α-ring. The antibody is provided as a 100 µl liquid stock in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline containing 10% glycerol (pH 7.0) with 0.01% Thimerosal added as a preservative, and should be stored at –20 °C in aliquots to minimise freeze/thaw cycles. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blotting at 1:500–1:3000 and for immunohistochemistry at 1:100–1:250, with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 28 kDa. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the antibody reacts with human samples, making it suitable for routine detection of endogenous proteasome alpha 7 in cell lysates and paraffin-embedded tissue, including xenograft material such as CL1-5.
