Prostate Secretory Protein (PSP), also referred to as β-microseminoprotein or PSP94, is a small secreted glycoprotein produced predominantly by prostatic epithelium and used as a research marker in prostate cancer and reproductive biology studies. This unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody, clone YPSP-2, is raised against the native human protein and validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows. The lyophilised preparation is supplied as a 100 µg aliquot and reconstitutes cleanly for routine immunodetection without need for a pre-conjugated secondary format.

Reactivity is restricted to human samples, supporting work on patient-derived prostate tissue lysates, seminal plasma fractions, and recombinant PSP standards. Researchers pair this reagent with standard HRP- or fluorophore-tagged secondaries to detect endogenous PSP in conditioned media, tissue homogenates, or purified fractions. Aliquoting after reconstitution limits repeated freeze-thaw cycles and preserves binding activity for long-term studies; refrigerate the reconstituted vial and protect from light when not in use.

The unconjugated format gives laboratories flexibility to choose their own detection chemistry, whether chemiluminescent imaging, standard immunoblotting, or plate-based ELISA. Each vial from Antibodies.com is quality-controlled for lot-to-lot consistency, and the clone designation YPSP-2 allows traceability across published studies that have used this reagent for PSP expression profiling and biomarker investigation in human specimens.
