Anti-Prostate Mucin Antibody [YPMA-1]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone YPMA-1) is raised against Prostate Mucin and is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications. It is of the IgG1 isotype, provided unconjugated, and reacts with Human samples. The product is supplied as a lyophilised preparation.

The antibody was generated using membrane protein extracted from human prostate mucin tissues as the immunogen and specifically recognises the prostate mucin antigen. It does not cross-react with fetal or benign prostate specimens, non-prostate carcinomas, or normal human tissues.

Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and formulated in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2, the antibody is raised in the Sp2/0-Ag14 system. It is shipped at 4°C; aliquots should be stored at -20°C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitute with double distilled water prior to use; the working concentration is reconstitution dependent.
