Anti-Prostate Mucin Antibody [YPMA-1]

Mouse monoclonal antibody clone YPMA-1 from Antibodies.com targets human prostate mucin, a heavily glycosylated epithelial secretory glycoprotein associated with prostate tissue. Supplied in a vial as a 100 µg lyophilised preparation, this unconjugated IgG1 reagent is validated for western blot detection of the prostate mucin antigen in human samples. The YPMA-1 epitope has been mapped on prostate mucin expressed by normal and malignant prostatic epithelium, supporting research into prostate cancer biomarkers, glandular secretory biology, and glycoprotein characterisation across benign and tumour-derived tissue. Reconstitute the lyophilised pellet in sterile buffer prior to use, aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect reconstituted stock from light for short-term storage.
