Anti-PRMT7 Antibody

The Antibodies.com listing reports reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat, while the two manufacturer datasheets describe reactivity with Human only. The immunogen described in one manufacturer datasheet is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 513–692 of human PRMT7 (NP_061896.1); the other specifies a fusion protein derived from internal residues of human Protein arginine methyltransferase 7.

Formulation differs between sources: one supplier describes Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal; another describes PBS, pH 7.3, containing 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Purification is performed by affinity methods. One source gives a concentration of 1.1 mg/mL; another states the concentration is lot specific. Recommended dilutions from one manufacturer are WB: 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
