Anti-PRMT5 Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and recognises PRMT5. It is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated as a liquid preparation. The reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and is reactive with human, mouse, rat and monkey samples.

The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 471–637 of human PRMT5 (NP_006100.2), and the target is observed at approximately 70 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
