Anti-PRL-3 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is directed against PRL-3, also known by the synonyms PTP4A3, PRL3, PRL-R, Protein tyrosine phosphatase type IVA 3, Protein-tyrosine phosphatase 4a3, and Protein-tyrosine phosphatase of regenerating liver 3. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blotting and has been confirmed to react with human, mouse and rat samples.

Rabbits were immunised with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 161–166 (K-D-P-H-T) of human PTP4A3 conjugated to KLH, and the resulting antibodies were affinity-purified against the epitope-specific peptide. According to the manufacturer, the reagent specifically detects transfected PRL-3 protein. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
