Anti-PRKX Antibody

Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent targets PRKX (Protein Kinase X-linked), a serine/threonine kinase encoded on the X chromosome and a member of the cAMP-dependent protein kinase family. The antibody is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, packaged in a 100 µl vial for research use only.

PRKX participates in epithelial morphogenesis and renal tubule development, and altered PRKX expression has been reported in several tumor contexts, making it a relevant target for studies in nephrology, developmental biology, and oncology research. The antibody was raised against a recombinant PRKX immunogen and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows.

It cross-reacts with Mouse and Rat orthologs in addition to Human, supporting comparative work across standard mammalian model systems. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it can be paired with secondary labels and detection chemistries selected by the end user.

For storage, keep the vial refrigerated at 4°C for short-term use; for longer projects, aliquot and freeze at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Protect from light and handle with appropriate personal protective equipment given the sodium azide preservative.
