Anti-PRKCG Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com as a high-quality primary antibody reagent, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against PRKCG (Protein kinase C gamma type), a member of the serine/threonine kinase family implicated in signal transduction, cancer biology and neuroscience, and is also known by the synonyms PKCG, PKC-gamma, PKCC, MGC57564 and SCA14. The antibody is provided as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG raised in rabbit, supplied in liquid form at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. It reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species detection of endogenous PRKCG/PKC-gamma protein (predicted molecular weight ~78 kDa). The 50 µl vial size and PBS-based, azide-containing formulation are consistent with standard short- to long-term storage at 2–8 °C for routine use and at –20 °C for extended stability, avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
