Anti-PRKAR2A Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for PRKAR2A, also referenced in the product literature as PKA R2/PKR2. The reagent is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated in liquid form. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is reported to be KO validated. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–404 of human PKA RIIa (PRKAR2A)/PKR2 (NP_004148.1), and the antibody is purified by affinity chromatography. The reported molecular weight is 46 kDa. Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:1,000–1:2,000 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and the concentration is lot specific.
