Anti-PRKACB Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab187515)

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against PKA beta (catalytic subunit), offered by Antibodies.com. The reagent is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 250-351 of human PKA C-beta (PRKACB), accession NP_002722.1. The target protein migrates at approximately 46 kDa. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography. Recommended working dilutions are WB 1:500-1:1,000, IHC 1:50-1:200, and ICC/IF 1:50-1:200.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Representative validation data include Western blot detection of rat spleen lysates loaded at 25µg per lane with ECL detection (Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L HRP secondary at 1:10,000, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST blocking buffer, 180s exposure), IHC staining of paraffin-embedded rat brain and human appendix tissue at 1:100, and immunofluorescence on NIH-3T3 cells at 1:100.
