Anti-PRKACA (phospho T197) Antibody

Antibodies.com offers this rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against PRKACA when phosphorylated at threonine 197, also known as cAMP Protein Kinase Catalytic subunit alpha. The reagent is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form and has been validated for Western blot (WB) applications. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide corresponding to the region surrounding T197 of human PRKACA (NP_002721.1), with the immunogen sequence reported as TWTLC. The antibody is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The reported molecular weight is 40 kDa, and the concentration is lot specific.

For Western blot, a working dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000 is recommended. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
