Anti-PRKAA1 (phospho T183) + PRKAA2 (phospho T172) Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab194920)

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognises the phosphorylated forms of PRKAA1 (Thr183) and PRKAA2 (Thr172), corresponding to AMPK alpha 1 and AMPK alpha 2. Raised in rabbit and of the IgG isotype, the unconjugated reagent reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

Validated for Western blotting, with a recommended working dilution of 1:500–1:1,000, the reagent is also listed for IHC application. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide centred around T183 of human PRKAA1 (NP_006242.5). Affinity-purified and supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 62 kDa. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
