Anti-PRKAA1 (phospho T183) + PRKAA2 (phospho T172) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com, raised against a synthetic peptide phosphorylated at T172 of human AMPK alpha 1 + AMPK alpha 2. It is directed against the PRKAA1 (phospho T183) + PRKAA2 (phospho T172) target. The unconjugated IgG reagent reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is validated for WB, IHC-P, IP and ELISA. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC-P 1:50–1:100, IP 0.5 µg–4 µg antibody for 200 µg–400 µg extracts of whole cells, and ELISA 1 µg/ml. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity purified. Predicted molecular weights are 64 kDa and 65 kDa, with molecular weights of 64 kDa / 62 kDa reported. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
