Anti-PRKAA1 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises AMPK alpha 1 (PRKAA1). Supplied as an unconjugated IgG, it has been validated for use in Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The immunogen used to raise the antibody is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around S485 of human AMPK alpha 1 (NP_006242.5), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 64 kDa.

The antibody is purified by affinity purification and provided in liquid form in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, supplemented with 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. Concentration is lot specific. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:100–1:500 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:200.
