PRK2, also designated PKN2, is a serine/threonine kinase that participates in cytoskeletal reorganization, cell migration, and transcriptional regulation through interactions with Rho family GTPases. Antibodies.com provides this polyclonal reagent as 100 µl of unconjugated rabbit antiserum, validated for western blot and immunofluorescence detection in human samples. Researchers studying prostate or bladder carcinoma biology, where altered PRK2 expression has been documented, frequently use this antibody to investigate kinase-dependent signaling cascades. Aliquot the vial upon arrival and refrigerate; multiple freeze-thaw cycles should be minimized to retain binding performance. The unconjugated format accommodates custom fluorophore, biotin, or HRP conjugation depending on the downstream application.
