Anti-Prion protein PrP Antibody [7A1]

This clone (7A1) was raised against recombinant human prion protein and recognizes conformational epitopes shared by the cellular PrPC isoform and the disease-associated PrPSc form. For Western blot, a working dilution of 1:500 to 1:1000 (approximately 1 to 2 µg/mL) is a common starting point on brain or neural lysates, while ELISA protocols can use the antibody as a capture or detection reagent for soluble PrP.
