Anti-PRF1 Antibody

Perforin-1 (PRF1) is the pore-forming cytolytic protein stored in the lytic granules of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells, where it delivers granzymes into virus-infected or transformed target cells to trigger apoptosis. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes human perforin-1 and is widely used to map cytotoxic lymphocyte activity in immunology, tumor-immunology, and transplant-rejection research. Mutations disrupting PRF1 cause familial hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (FHL type 2), so the protein is also a focal marker in primary immunodeficiency studies.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody, raised in rabbit, and validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) on human samples.
