Anti-PRDX6 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targets Peroxiredoxin 6 (PRDX6). It is unconjugated and supplied as an affinity-purified liquid, validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF).

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-224 of human Peroxiredoxin 6 (NP_004896.1). According to the manufacturer datasheet, it reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, although the Antibodies.com catalogue entry lists reactivity as human and mouse only. Reported molecular weight of the target is 27 kDa.

The formulation is phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with a lot-specific concentration. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500-1:1,000 for WB, 1:50-1:200 for IHC, and 1:50-1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
