Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targeting PRDM5 (PR Domain Containing 5), a zinc-finger transcriptional regulator that acts as a tumor suppressor and controls extracellular matrix gene expression. Produced and validated by Antibodies.com for research use only, this unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µl vial and has been confirmed reactive against human, mouse, and rat PRDM5 in western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows.

PRDM5 belongs to the PRDM family of chromatin-associated transcriptional regulators and contains an N-terminal PR domain together with C-terminal C2H2-type zinc fingers that mediate sequence-specific DNA binding. Published studies have linked PRDM5 to osteoblast differentiation, collagen biosynthesis, and the pathogenesis of Brittle Cornea Syndrome, and the gene is frequently silenced by promoter methylation in colorectal, gastric, and breast tumors. The polyclonal reagent therefore supports investigations into epigenetics, ECM remodeling, developmental biology, and cancer biology research where detection of endogenous PRDM5 protein is required across multiple model organisms.
