Anti-PRAS40 (phospho-T246) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against PRAS40 phosphorylated at threonine 246. It is supplied as an unconjugated preparation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen to a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PRAS40 surrounding the threonine 246 phosphorylation site, and it selectively detects endogenous levels of PRAS40 only when phosphorylated at Thr246, with a molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa. It is validated for Western blotting and has been confirmed to react with human, mouse and rat samples.
