Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a polyclonal, unconjugated preparation at 100 µL per vial, this antibody recognizes PRAME (Preferentially Expressed Antigen of Melanoma), a cancer-testis antigen that is normally restricted to testicular germline cells but is aberrantly expressed across multiple solid and hematologic malignancies, including cutaneous and uveal melanoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, breast carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, and acute myeloid leukemia. The reagent is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples.

PRAME-derived peptides are presented on HLA class I molecules and recognized by tumor-reactive cytotoxic T lymphocytes, making the antigen a target of active investigation in adoptive cell therapy and vaccine development. Researchers use this reagent to confirm endogenous PRAME protein expression in tumor cell lines, to track expression changes following epigenetic or immunomodulatory treatment, and to validate CRISPR-based knockout or knockdown controls. Its unconjugated format also makes it compatible with custom labeling for downstream applications where a non-standard fluorophore or hapten is preferred.

Key product attributes include rabbit host reactivity, polyclonal clonality, and unconjugated format, providing flexibility to pair the antibody with a broad selection of secondary reagents for chemiluminescent Western blot or fluorescence-based imaging on fixed cells. Empirical titration is recommended for each new sample type, and for immunofluorescence, blocking and permeabilization steps should be optimized for the cell or tissue preparation in use. Store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve activity over the working shelf life.
