Targeting a cancer-testis antigen with research utility in tumor biology and immunotherapy development. The PRAME protein (Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma) is normally restricted to testicular germ cells but becomes aberrantly expressed across a spectrum of human malignancies, including cutaneous melanoma, breast carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and acute myeloid leukemia. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against human PRAME and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human specimens.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, an unconjugated format that supports flexible downstream labeling and reliable storage at -20°C with minimal freeze-thaw damage. Polyclonal preparations recognize multiple epitopes on the target, which is helpful when probing splice variants, post-translational modifications, or samples where the antigen may be partially degraded. This reagent is applied to characterize PRAME expression in tumor tissue microarrays, assess nuclear localization by immunofluorescence, and study PRAME as a candidate target antigen in cancer immunotherapy research, including TCR-engineered adoptive cell therapy and peptide vaccination strategies.
