Anti-PRAF2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the C-terminal region of human PRAF2 (also called JM4), this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes a small PRA1-domain protein that localizes mainly to the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi membranes. PRAF2 binds Rab-family GTPases and contributes to vesicular trafficking, while JM4-interacting studies have linked it to regulation of the EAAT2 glutamate transporter, ER stress responses, and tumor cell survival pathways studied in breast cancer and glioma models.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid stock in a single vial and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows on samples from human, mouse, and rat origins. Because polyclonal preparations recognize multiple epitopes on the target, they are useful when probing protein variants, truncated fragments, or partially degraded samples in cell lysate and tissue preparations.
