PP6R1-containing complexes participate in G1/S checkpoint progression, resolution of the DNA damage response through γH2AX dephosphorylation, and negative regulation of NF-κB signaling via IκBα, making this reagent useful for in vitro studies of phosphatase signaling in cell lysates and tissue extracts. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated antiserum, validated for Western blot on human and mouse samples, and permits detection of endogenous PPP6R1 alongside appropriate secondary reagents.
